Gay Jones & Kuhn Announces New Firm Financial Operations Manager

Gay Jones & Kuhn PLLC is pleased to welcome Joseph Shows as the firm Financial Operations Manager. 

For more than 10 years Joseph’s career has focused on legal billing and accounting.  His attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work with people make him one of the best in the business.  “We could not be more thrilled to have Joseph join our team.  I have had the pleasure of working with Joseph since he began his career in the legal field.  He is not only hard working, but he is one of the best people with whom you will ever work.  His ability to process data and information for business management is amazing.  Joseph will be an asset for our team and our clients” says GJ&K Founding Member Mary Margaret Gay.

Joseph grew up in Mendenhall, Mississippi and graduated in 2007 from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Upon graduation from Southern Miss, he began his career at a national firm in Jackson, Mississippi assisting the firm’s attorneys with billing, database tracking and settlements.  “I have always had a passion for statistics, analytics and accounting.  I enjoy working with data and numbers to help create solutions,” Joseph says.  For the past 4 years Joseph has served as lead account manager for a complex account while also helping implement and create new billing and accounting tracking systems. 

Joseph and his wife Jessica have three children and two dogs, so there is never a dull moment in the Shows household.  Joseph will join GJ&K in the Jackson, Mississippi, office while pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
